A really pleasant ice cream parlor with nice seating outside. This ice cream parlor offers diabetic ice cream in the types of chocolate and vanilla and is happy to "make" a spaghetti ice cream out of it. Not the cheapest in price, but great taste. The service is nice and friendly. We like to go there.

I often went to the Eis Cafe San Remo near Nordstrasse in Düsseldorf to get ice cream. Last visit was charged more for the waffle. When asked, it was only said that this was the service price if you eat in the café yourself. After I told the employee that I was taking a waffle “To Go” with me, they discussed outrageously on the phone and just hung up. Rude service, not to be recommended and can only recommend looking at the menu or not even going there. There are enough ice cream cafés on Nordstraße with delicious waffles and a wide range of ice cream flavors and with a better, more customer-friendly service.

The ice cream parlor San Remo has been around for a long time Nordstrasse. Since they have tables and chairs on the sidewalk, the result is a really good little terrace. The ice cream tastes really good here. You can hardly believe it, the pizza is also recommended here. Otherwise there is a street vending at the window, which always does quickly tempted to take an ice cream on hand. The owners are lovely and you feel very comfortable here.

One star is still too much. Were there on New Year's Day, chocolate cups and spaghetti ice cream ordered. The chocolate cup came first, vanielle and chocolate, drowned in cheap chocolate sauce. The ice cream was inedible, just sweet, Aldi ice cream is better. The spaghetti ice cream came 15 minutes later. I left the chocolate ice cream and told the waitress that this is the worst ice cream I've ever eaten. She cheekily said "We have the best ice cream" and left. I had to pay for both ice creams, although we left them untouched. 14.50 euros for the worst quality. You should avoid this ice cream parlor.

Nice little ice cream parlor that still has the charm of the 80s. The decor is very classic, perhaps a little too cheesy for some. The coffee is ok, latte macchiato quite good. The chocolate cake and the waffles are delicious. We didn't try the ice cream. Price / performance are right. The service is very very friendly. In addition to ice cream, waffles and cakes, you can also get toasties, baguettes and pizza here.

For years the popular, friendly Italian from the north street, delicious ice cream, always friendly atmosphere, large selection of ice cream flavors. You can't buy happiness but you can buy icecream at San Remo. And that's kind of the same thing.

Tiefkühltruhe Industrie Pizza is used as a floor covering for proud 10.40 € I find very happig and very fraudulent! In the menu card is declared as original Italian! Pizza was baked somewhere else, with a warming box picked up somewhere. So I ate a lot of pizza, I had never experienced anything like that !!!! 21.03.2019 was my visiting day!

The staff always has a smile on their face. The order is quickly recorded and delivered. It tastes really good. A recommendation would be the spaghetti ice cream, which is quite generous and for a reasonable price.

Quality was very good with the ice cream - spaghetti ice cream tastes good here, especially the selection of the different variants should be emphasized. Waffles were praised, the coffee was probably not so great. Amount was ok The service was very friendly and courteous and fast. I would have wished that we all got our ice cream and waffles at the same time. Price performance ratio is ok, a normal spaghetti ice cream is about 7 €. No surprise on the bill Conclusion: there are better ice cream parlors, but you do not do anything wrong. A nice selection of ice creams, good taste for a moderate price and a nice ambience are outdone only by the loving service and the friendly service. A very nice ice cream parlor! I will gladly come back. Great, that Panettone are offered during the Advent season :)

Price / performance ratio is absolutely fine -the staff are friendly and accommodating. Tasty okay. Not as good as in Italy but better than many others offered. Anytime again.

The ice cream is nothing special. The 2 waitresses working during the day are nice and polite. The boss is an arrogant and cheeky person, who likes to insult the client in case he woke up with a bed mood. I am sorry for the 2 waitresses, but I strongly advice against going there.

Coffee not delicious at all. Much too watery, no taste of coffee and the beans seemed to have been burnt. The coffee was very bitter. I hope that will improve.

Unfriendly staff and artificial taste

I went there with my baby, and wanted to try ice cream before I ordered (this is what you can do at most of the icecream shops). I just tasted one flavor and asked to taste another flavor. One of the staffs approached me in the most unfriendly way, yelled at me and told me I couldn't just try all the flavors. There is nothing wrong if it is their company principle ' not to let anyone try flavors before ordering' ; but then: why did they let me try first? And they could have said this in a polite way; but she was aggressively yelling at me! When I told her that she didn't have to be such rude; she just said: "i don't need your advice!" Well, if you are going to an ice cream shop, the last thing you need is someone making you feel such bad!
